Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the AI Email Generator ("the App") handles your information. The App is a client-side tool — all data processing occurs in your browser and on services you explicitly connect. We do not operate a server, we do not collect analytics, and we do not store your data.

Data We Collect

The App stores the following exclusively in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device except as described below:

• API keys — keys for OpenAI, Google (Gemini, Maps), and Hunter.io that you enter in Settings.
• Lead / contact records — business names, email addresses, and phone numbers you upload or generate. Stored per-session in localStorage for continuity across page refreshes.
• Generated email drafts — the email content produced by the AI, stored in localStorage within each session.
• App configuration — selected AI provider, OAuth client IDs, and Apps Script URL.

We collect no usage data, no crash reports, no analytics, and no personally identifiable information beyond what you explicitly provide.

How Your Data Is Used

• AI generation — your contact records and instructions are sent to the AI provider you select (OpenAI or Google Gemini) solely to generate email drafts. Refer to each provider's privacy policy for how they handle API request data.
• Lead discovery — if you use Generate Leads, your search query is sent to the Google Places API. Discovered domains are optionally sent to Hunter.io for email enrichment.
• Email sending — if you configure Gmail via Apps Script, email content is sent through your own Google Apps Script deployment running under your Google account. If you configure Outlook, content is sent through the Microsoft Graph API under your account.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party for marketing purposes or for any purpose other than those explicitly described above. The third-party services invoked (OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Hunter.io) receive only the minimum data required to perform the specific action you trigger.

Data Retention

All data is stored in your browser's localStorage. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings or by clearing sessions within the App. We retain no copies.

Your Rights

Because the App stores no data outside your browser, you have full control. Delete your localStorage to remove all stored information instantly.

Program Description

AI Email Generator is a browser-based tool that uses artificial intelligence to draft personalized business emails from contact records provided by the user. Users may send those drafts via their own Gmail account (through a self-deployed Google Apps Script) or Microsoft Outlook.

Acceptance of Terms

By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the content of emails you generate and send.
• You must have a lawful basis to contact each recipient and must comply with all applicable laws including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, and any other regulations applicable in your jurisdiction.
• You must not use the App to send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or messages that violate any platform's acceptable use policy.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of API keys and access credentials you enter into the App.

Intellectual Property

The App code is provided as-is. AI-generated email drafts are produced by third-party models; you are responsible for reviewing content before sending.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee deliverability of emails, accuracy of AI-generated content, or availability of third-party APIs.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or the messages you send through it.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
